Jay C. Juergensen is a planning, capital program, climate, resilience, disaster recovery and real estate development expert.
He is an entrepreneur and has helped establish and expand numerous NGOs, has spent 10 years in executive roles within the public sector and has been a university professor around the country.
Jay is passionate about working with mission driven organizations and it fuels his tenacity for finding solutions to long-standing obstacles to re-investment in economically distressed neighborhoods and overcoming the challenges of entrenched bureaucracies. He is committed to collaboration and the respectful engagement of diverse stakeholders as part of the problem-solving process.
He works in what he calls “public spaces” - the coming together of communities in lifting themselves in addressing the challenges that confront or limit their progress and his diverse portfolio includes work on youth arts and culture programs and municipal infrastructure.
