Grace Church Redevelopment - DiekemaHamann Architecture & Engineering Offices

Jay provided technical assistance to his longtime friend and colleague, Norman L. Hamann, AIA, DiekemaHamann Architecture & Engineering introducing him to Historic Tax Credits and investors.  Norm and his partners saved the threatened Grace Reformed Christian Church and completed a dynamic adaptive re-use of the landmark property for the firm’s offices.  Additional office space was also created for other tenants. 

The firm occupied the former church in the spring of 2001 and the redevelopment helped stabilize the neighborhood and led to additional investment and revitalization.
